Describe characteristics of a normal distribution

Week 3 Discussion QuestionWhen you complete module 3 you will be able to:Develop a null and alternative hypothesis for a given research question.• Describe characteristics of a normal distribution.• Distinguish between Type 1 and Type 2 error including how error is related to alpha.• Calculate and interpret z-Tests.• Calculate and interpret single sample t-Tests.• Calculate and interpret confidence intervals for single sample t-Tests.• Evaluate an empirical research article.Note from the professor (Question)The discussion question asks you to share your hypothesis, Don’t make the mistake of posting only the research question. The hypothesis is a prediction concerning the relationship between variables being studied. For example “Use of the classroom curriculum, established by the Department of Education, will improve the academic development of the gifted child”. This is a directional hypothesis. The null hypothesis, no relationship between variables, would be “Use of the classroom curriculum, established by the Department of Education, will have no affect on academic development of the gifted child”. Do you see the differences? Contact me if you have questions.Share your research idea (proposal) with your classmates, including the hypothesis and planned design. Please just help me answer the question. it does not have to be more than a page. Thanks
